Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 October 2026

DRAFT — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Written from the facts in docs/self-serve.md decisions 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16. A lawyer reading a sound draft costs a fraction of one writing from nothing. Every factual claim below is something the product actually does; nothing is aspirational.

Company details appear here from one shared source (lib/legal/company.ts) — name, address, phone and email. The address may change again, so it must never be typed into more than one file.

1. Who you are agreeing with

iOrder is a service of iPOS Supply LLC, a Texas limited liability company. "iOrder" is a registered assumed name (dba) of iPOS Supply LLC.

  • Address: 2611 Ludelle St, Fort Worth, TX 76105
  • Phone: 800-767-3805
  • Email: support@iorder.rest

In these terms, "we", "us" and "iOrder" mean iPOS Supply LLC. "You" means the business that signs up.

2. What iOrder is

iOrder puts your restaurant's menu on a web page that your customers open by scanning a code. You build the menu, you publish it, and your customers read it on their phones.

What iOrder is not. iOrder does not take orders, process your customers' payments, handle delivery, or act as a marketplace. We take no commission or percentage of your sales, ever. If we add ordering later it will be a separate service you choose to turn on.

We do not come between you and your customer. No part of this service collects money from a diner.

3. Who may use iOrder

You may use iOrder if you are at least 18 years old and are signing up on behalf of a business you are authorised to represent. iOrder is for businesses. It is not intended for personal use, and it is not directed at children.

4. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for anyone you give access to it. Sign-in is by a link we email you, so keep your email account secure — anyone who can read your email can reach your menu.

Tell us promptly at support@iorder.rest if you believe someone has reached your account without permission.

5. Your menu is yours

You own your menu content — your dish names, descriptions, prices, pictures and your restaurant's name. You keep owning it. We do not claim it and we do not sell it.

You give us permission to store it, display it to your customers, and show it on the pages you publish. That permission exists only so the service can work, and it ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we must keep records (see section 12).

You are responsible for what your menu says. That includes prices, descriptions, claims about your food, and anything you upload. You confirm you have the right to use everything you put into iOrder, including pictures and logos.

6. Allergen information — read this one

iOrder does not check, verify or guarantee anything about your food.

If you choose to mark allergens, those marks come from you. We display exactly what you entered. We never guess an allergen from a dish name, a description or a photograph, and we never tell a diner that a dish is safe, free of anything, or suitable for any person.

A blank or unmarked dish means nothing has been recorded. It does not mean a dish is free of an allergen, and the service says so to your customers.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of allergen information, for keeping it current when your recipes or suppliers change, and for complying with every food-safety law that applies to your business. Those laws vary by state and locality. iOrder makes no claim that you or we comply with any of them.

If allergen information matters to your business, verify it yourself and train your staff. A menu is not a substitute for a conversation between a diner and a server.

7. What you may not publish

You may not use iOrder to publish anything unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights. The full list and how we handle it is in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.

We scan uploaded images automatically before they can become public. We may review published content and ask you to change or remove something. In serious cases we may remove it or suspend the account.

8. Your web address

You choose your restaurant's address on iOrder, such as iorder.rest/joes-pizza.

  • It is free to change while you are setting up.
  • It locks once you first publish or first print table codes, because it goes on physical table tents.
  • After it locks, you cannot change it yourself. Email support@iorder.rest and we will change it, with a record of who asked and when. You will need to reprint your codes.
  • A name that has been published or printed is never released to anyone else, even if you leave. An old table tent will land on an honest "this menu is no longer available" page, never on a stranger's restaurant.
  • Some names are reserved and cannot be chosen.

9. Publishing

Nothing you type is public until you press Publish. Your customers see only the version you published, not your work in progress.

Two things take effect immediately without publishing, on purpose: marking a dish sold out, and your opening hours and schedules. A kitchen that has run out of something cannot wait.

10. What you pay

Monthly$14.99 per month, per location
Yearly$120 per year, per location
Each extra location$8.99 per month

Sales tax is collected by iOrder dba iPOS Supply LLC where it applies.

You keep the price you signed up at. If we raise our prices, the rise applies to new sign-ups. It does not re-price your existing subscription.

Signing up is free. Publishing is what you pay for. You can build your entire menu and look at it on your own phone before paying anything.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time.

11. Refunds

Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms. In short: refunds are prorated at the regular monthly price, so a yearly discount does not survive early cancellation. Membership cards bought through a third party are refunded by that third party.

12. If you leave, or we suspend you

If you stop paying, your published menu stops showing. Your customers see a short page asking them to speak to a server. We do not show a broken page, an error, or someone else's menu.

Your work is kept for six months. Come back inside six months and everything is where you left it. We email you at month five to warn you, with a copy of your menu.

After six months we delete it. The menu, the pictures, the scan counts and the account go. Three things remain:

  1. Financial records — invoices and payments, kept for as long as tax law requires.
  2. Your web address stays reserved, so an old printed code never leads a diner somewhere wrong.
  3. A record that the deletion happened — what was deleted, when, and for which restaurant.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that is used unlawfully, or where payment fails and is not fixed. Where we suspend you, section 11 applies.

13. Availability

We work to keep iOrder running and we monitor it, but we do not promise any particular level of uptime and we do not offer a service-level agreement. The service depends on providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and on things outside our control.

We may change, add to, or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you depend on, we will tell you before it happens where we reasonably can.

14. No warranty

iOrder is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.

15. Limit on what we owe you

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or lost data.
  • Our total liability to you, for all claims together, will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some states do not allow certain exclusions. Where that is so, the exclusions apply to the extent permitted.

Nothing in this section limits liability for our own fraud or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

16. You cover us for your menu

You agree to defend and indemnify iPOS Supply LLC against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your allergen and food-safety information.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use iOrder after that means you accept the new terms. The date at the top always shows the current version.

18. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and we each consent to that.

19. The rest

  • If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • Not enforcing something once does not mean we give up the right to enforce it later.
  • You may not transfer your account to someone else without our written agreement. We may transfer these terms as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business.
  • These terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about iOrder.
